All of these are possible with our Membership Referral Program. This is how the Referral Program works.

1. Write your name and membership ID # on a membership application, in the space for "Where did you learn of SAW". You can obtain a copy of the SAW Membership Application here. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader™ to open and print this file. You can also go here and type in your information, then print off as many copies as you might like.
2. Print  copies of this application form.
3. Hand out these applications with your name and membership ID # to each scroller that you meet.
4. Each person that you refer to SAW who joins will add one month to your membership FREE!

That's all there is to it. You can get your SAW membership FREE! Everyone is eligible for this program, including the person who just signed up. Once they have their membership ID #, they can refer new members to SAW also.

You can distribute these applications at craft shows, woodworking clubs, anywhere that you meet other scrollers. If you teach scrolling, you can pass the application out to each of your students. Build a local network of scrollers and you can start a Local Chapter very easily.

Your referrals are accumulated for a period of one year. That year starts January 1st and ends on December 31st. At that time your counter is zeroed out and a new count starts for the next year. Referral counts are listed in SAW Dust throughout the year. You will also receive a new expiration sticker as your expiration date changes.

Referrals from Business

Referral's are also accepted from a business. The award for a business referral can add up to savings in your advertising budget. For each 25 referrals from a business, that business will have earned a free 1/2 page advertisement in our SAW Dust newsletter. SAW Dust is published four times a year and reaches a very dedicated group of scrollers.

We will happily supply your business with membership applications which you can distribute to your customers. Instead of putting a SAW Membership number on the application, stamp each application with your business name. SAW will track the number of referrals received from your business. When the number of referrals reaches 25, you will be contacted about your free advertisement.

Referral Grand Prize

At the January, 2006 Board of Director's meeting it was decided to extend the referral program to reward the individual and business who had made the most referrals in a calendar year.

The individual who has referred the largest number of new members to SAW will receive six (6) free months of membership in SAW.

The business that has referred the largest number of new members to SAW will receive an additional 1/2 (one-half) page advertisement in SAW Dust at no charge.

These awards will be determined at the end of each year when the referral counts are zeroed out. Winners will be notified of their award and a write up on each of these winners will be placed in the April issue of SAW Dust.
