Welcome to the A to Z Scrollers!
A Chapter Charter was granted to A to Z Scrollers, from the Scrollsaw Association of the World on Oct.16, 2002. The club, soon to be 5 years old, has seen many changes, After going to the CA Scrollsaw Expo in Summer of 2002 the three members who attended the Expo decided to start a local chapter. And with a little luck and hard work the club has had two picnics and is getting active in the community. Last year they donated a Christmas tree to one of the local schools for homeless children. 2005 the club will be donating two Christmas Trees to be auctioned off and the money will be going to charity. Membership of twenty plus SAW members with many visitors and new scrollers attend the local meeting of the club.
The president, Bill Heitman and vice president, Kerry Lee, of our local chapter are also Board of Director members of SAW.
The club will be meeting along this the Arizona Fine Woodworks third Wedesday of the month.
The club will be setting up a work project once every 3 months detail are still to come.
