Duane
sent the picture of the coach to start his photo gallery.
He wrote:
This is the second time I have made this coach. The
first time was back in 1960 from a H.L. Wild pattern when
I was 18 years old. After 40 years the glue let loose and
fell apart and was very fragile as it was made from
one-eighth inch mahogany and the sides were bent in the
rear to narrow it down
This coach is made from solid cherry and finished
with lacquer. The brass hubs and door pulls came from my
original coach and I got them from H.L.Wild in 1960.
I have made a number of projects from Wildwood patterns
and occasionally make a few from all the orginial H.L.Wild
patterns I still have.
