Ernie's sister, Susie, is very proud of the scrollwork that her brother Ernie has done. She sent these pictures for his project page, and I think you will agree that she has plenty of reason to be proud of his accomplishments.  If you would like to contact Ernie, you can e-mail him  here.

Ernie Johnston has created this wonderful "Wash Stand" from a Wildwood Design pattern. His sister Susie sent the pictures to us to show everyone the wonderful work that her brother has done.

"Susie's Box". It is made out of Ash wood with a clear finish on it. It measures 16 1/4 "W x7 1/8"H x 8 1/4" deep. The pattern was a "Wildwood Design". Mounted both the Butterflies and the Birdbath on black felt backing and put in frames.

The 2 sets of crosses went to a  truck driving preacher in Oklahoma. They were mounted on purple velveteen and put in shadow boxes. The dragon is made out of purpleheart wood.I love the true purple color of the wood. He said it was the hardest wood to cut. It won 2nd place at the TEXAS-OKLAHOMA fair in 1999. It was the first time he had ever entered anything. These items were entered in the TEXAS-OKLAHOMA fair in 2000. He won first place for the Keepsake Basket. It is made out of walnut with a clear finish. He won second place for the carriage. It is made out of purpleheart wood with a clear finish on it.  He won third place for the fruit basket and another third place for the cross. The cross is made out of pecan with a clear finish. The car won fourth place. My fantasy unicorns. They are made out of ash with a clear finish.
