Alan
and Anna Douglass are SAW members from Lawton, OK.
They both manage to keep very busy with their scrolling
activities. They work with at least three churches that
have Christmas Bazaars, plus they have done flag stands
for the Salvation Army and the Armed Forces USO.
When they set up a display in a
church or senior citizen center, they are not there to
sell crafts, but to interest others in the art of
scrolling. The booth pictures below show some of their
setup. Informative cards are placed with each item to
indicate where the pattern came from, the wood that was
used to make the project, and sometimes a creative idea
about shrinking or expanding a pattern.
