The Association's purpose is to foster a wider understanding and appreciation of scrollsawing as a traditional and contemporary craft and a form of art among the general public, hobbyist scrollers, part-time scrollers and professional scrollers. This will be accomplished by providing education, information, organization, technical assistance and publications relating to scrollsawing.

More specifically, we propose principally to offer such services as a periodic publication, technical bulletins, conferences, audio/video programs, computer software, seminars, shows and exhibits, but may also conduct studies, undertake research and carry out education and disseminate programs on scrollsawing or offer scholarships or stipends toward that end.

In addition, the purposes and activities as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation of the Association are incorporated herein by reference. These purposes are in accordance with the Articles of Incorporation of the Association, and are intended to fulfill the educational, instructional, scientific, research, and informational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
